Fun weekend!

 On friday we took a trip to Machacos and went to the market there to buy ingredients to make Amanda (one of the DTS students) brownies for her birthday!  Having a kenyan somosa for the first time! Hujambo!

Hujambo! We are here at the base, in the “bush bush” as they call it. Traveling went really smoothly and were not even jet legged. Yesterday we saw a herd of 15 zebras right here at the base! On our way home!

We’ve killed three days in Cordova, seeing the sights and are flying home tonight! The Alaskan has served us well and we’ll probably stay there again next summer 🙂 We checked out the Museum, the Cafe and got some sweet clothes at the Salvation Army. We arrive in Portland at 6:00 tomorrow morning. Only 12 more days until we’re at the airport again, on … More On our way home!

Storm passed

There was a  storm that came through the area, so for the past few days the internet has been down. But today the sun is back and the internet’s working again.
