Camping is with out a doubt, the best way to overnight when exploring beautiful Iceland. With the popularity of travel booming during the summer, pitching a tent allows you to escape the crowded & pricey accommodations, experience the natural surroundings that you came to Iceland for and gain some pretty cool experiences. I think back at a few of my trips to Iceland and some of the most memorable and enriching experiences come from camping. If you plan to visit during the summer months, the weather is warm, the sun never sets and you don’t have to worry about any animals aside from the occasional sheep wandering into your camp. It truly is the perfect place for camping even for the novice outdoorsman. You will save a lot of money too!
