There are tons of Cafes in Kigali offering wifi, but only a few have a good enough connection to actually get work done. Save yourself some time and frustration by starting off with these places that we’ve found have the fastest wifi connections.
Bourbon Coffee at the airport
There are several Bourbon Coffees in Rwanda and most of them have terrible wifi connections because there are so many people trying to use it. But the Bourbon Coffee at the airport is the best wifi we have found in the city. The food is super expensive though, we usually just order a soda or a coffee and work on the internet for hours. You can even stream videos and run Skype.

Twistiblendz by Hero Shop
Twistiblendz in kimihurura not only has AMAZING smoothies but super fast wifi too. It’s walking distance from Papyrus, it’s always quite and not very busy. Anytime of the day it has a pretty fast connection.
Hours: Mon: Saturday: 7:00AM – 9:00PM, Sun: 9:00AM – 7:00PM, Umuganda: 12:00AM – 9:00PM

Best time to visit: Anytime
Brioche
Brioche, while expensive, usually has a good wifi connection and really good food. If you go to Brioche in the morning you can get a good wifi connection, but later on in the day the internet slows down significantly and sometimes it is out.

Java House
One of the newest cafes in Kigali is Java House from Kenya, it is on the top floor of Kigali City Heights next to the convention center. In the morning time you can get a good connection, but as the day goes on it slows down a lot. Most of the time at night it is completely out.
